She was a life-long member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan; sister, Alene Thompson; brother, James Leighton Sr.; and great-grandchild, Joseph Speir. Cremains are planned be buried at the Episcopal Cemetery in Limestone the first week of July."
