[13880] "The News-Item [Shamokin, PA], 8 January 1973," p. 2: "Harvey Andrew Troutman, 73, Herndon R.D., died Wednesday morning in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he had been a patient since Nov. 7. Mr. Troutman was born Oct. 20, 1899, in Washington Township, the son of the late David and Agnes (Geist) Troutman. He was a farmer in the Herndon area 30 years. He previously resided in Union, N.J. Mr. Troutman was a member of Free and Accepted Masons, Union, N.J., Grace Community Church, Herndon, and was an organizer of Lower Northumberland County Fish and Game Commission. Survivors include a son, Harvey, Jr., Herndon R.D.; one daughter, Mrs. John Keller, Collegeville; two grandchildren, and three, brothers, Jesse, Dornsife R.D.; Williard, Trevorton, and Paul, Rebuck."
