[53642] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 10 March 2021: "Bangor - Dorothy M. 'Dottie' Mayhew, 80, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born December 23, 1940, in Bangor, Maine. She was one of five children of George and Rose (White) McKay. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents; two siblings, Shirley Bemis and Jackie McKay; husband, Frank Mayhew Jr.; children, Scott Mayhew, Timmy Mayhew, Skip Mayhew, and Peggy Smith; son-in-law, Miles Cramer Jr.; and grandchild, Frank Mayhew III. Dottie is survived by two brothers, Calvin and wife, Sandy McKay, of Carmel, and John McKay of Kenduskeag; children, Cindy St. Louis and husband, Tommy St. Louis, of Carmel, Anna Cramer of Carmel, and John-boy Mayhew and significant other, Samantha Cote, of Carmel; daughter-in-law, Terry Mayhew of Carmel; grandchildren, Jason St. Louis, Jesse Smith, Jennifer Mayhew, Jeff Mayhew, Jamie St. Louis-Davis, Shantelle Edkins, Nikki St. Louis-Smith, Tasha Robichaud, Coty and Reilly Mayhew, TJ Mayhew, Misty Mayhew, and Becca Carter; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Dick and Margaret Babb. She spent her life dedicated to the love of her life, Frankie, for 59 years, and caring for her children and grandchildren. Dottie enjoyed spending time with family, going to bingo, yard saleing, shopping, camping, traveling, and having Friday lunches with her girls. Her loving nature and sassy attitude will be greatly missed by many." Dorothy is daughter of George L. McKay (1911-1973) & Rose A. White (1913-1990).
