"The Daily News [Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania], 21 Dec 1905," p. 1: "The funeral of the late Charles Carmitchell, of north Market street, who died last Monday morning, occurred today. Services were held at tbe late home at 1 oclock and interment was made in the Oak Hill cemetery at Alaska, the cortege going to the burial grounds on the 2:35 P&R train. Deceased was a member of Mouut Carmel Council No. 874, O. of I. A. and Lodgs No. 694, I. O O, F., and these orders attended the funeral In bodiee. Six nephews, sons of the late John Carmitchell, of Green Ridge, were the pall bearers and the honorary pall bearers were three from each of the above lodges."
