She was born at Waterbury, Conn., Oct. 31, 1921, the daughter of John and Elsie (Sido) Carter II. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Cotholic Church of Bar Harbor; a church volunteer; a hospital auxiliary volunteer; a member of the Bar Harbor Golf Club; and a teacher's aide from 1968 to 1990. She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Gray Sr. of Bar Harbor. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Cheryl Gray, Reginald 'Skip', Jr. and Betty Gray; four grandchildren, Michelle, Adam, Kiley and Luke Gray. . . . Burial will be in Holy Redeemer Cemetery." Rita is daughter of John Francis Carter (1895-1944) & Elsie Frances Sido (1893-1955).
