He was born July 9, 1902, son of George and Daisy (Gray) Snowman. He was a boatbuilder by trade and was a member of Marine Lodge of Masons, Deer Isle, and of the Saunders Manorial Church at Little Deer Isle. He is survived by his wife, Helen; a stepson, Llewellyn Eaton of Stonington; one brother, Clyde Snowman of Little Deer Isle; two sisters, Mrs. Muriel Weed of Old Lyme, Conn. and Mrs. Wilma Seano of Springfield, Mass.; also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews."
