[29756] Find A Grave memorial 119416866 offers: "When Christian Baer closed his eyes to the scenes of this worked for the last time last Friday we lost a good citizen, the neighborhood a good neighbor and his wife and children a good husband and father. In fact his kindness for those whom he took to be his friend is in no doubt what hastened his death, as his troubles for the past year have been more than he could bear and all this trouble was brought about by a few little kind acts, by bailing until he became so much involved that he was compelled to assign his property to Charles Ritter of Mansfield. Mr. Baer was a German, being born in Germany in the year 1833 and emigrated to this country in 1848 and by hard work and economy acquired a good farm and had it well-improved, but at a time when least expected reverses came and he lost nearly all of it again. In 1884 he was elected county commissioner and was re-elected in 1887. He leaves a wife, two daughters and eight sons. He was for many years a member of Monroe Lodge, No. 224, I.O.O.F. and was buried by the ceremony of that order at Mansfield Sunday at 4 p.m. (Semi-Weekly News (Mansfield): 17 May 1898, Vol. 14, No. 42)"

[6034] Ancestry.com offers: "Moore Name Meaning - English: from Middle English more 'moor', 'marsh', 'fen', 'area of uncultivated land' (Old English mor), hence a topographic name for someone who lived in such a place or a habitational name from any of the various places named with this word, as for example Moore in Cheshire or More in Shropshire. English: from Old French more 'Moor' (Latin maurus). The Latin term denoted a native of northwestern Africa, but in medieval England the word came to be used informally as a nickname for any swarthy or dark-skinned person. English: from a personal name (Latin Maurus 'Moor'). This name was borne by various early Christian saints. The personal name was introduced to England by the Normans, but it was never as popular in England as it was on the Continent. Irish: Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó Mórdha 'descendant of Mórdha', a byname meaning 'great', 'proud', or 'stately'. Scottish: see Muir. Welsh: from Welsh mawr 'big', applied as a nickname or distinguishing epithet."

[11475] An anonymous source on the Internet gives Amadeus' wives as (1) 1222 Anne (d. 1243, dau. of Duke Hughes III de Bourgogne) and (2) 1244 Cecile (d. 1275, dau. of Barral des Baux, Vicomte de Marseilles - and states that Anne is mother of Beatrice and that Cecile had with him Margareta (d. 1254), Count Boniface of Savoy (1244-63), Beatrix (d. 1292), Eleanore (m. 1269 Guichard de Beaujeu) and Constance (living in 1263). Brian Tompsett (http://www.dcs.hull.ac.uk/public/genealogy/royal) in May, 1999 shows Amadeus IV as brother of Beatrice rather than father - makes sense looking at the dates. Additionally, he shows her husband as Raymond Berenger, Count of Provence IV, and not Manfredo III. See the other Beatrice of Savoy in this database. Thompsett reports Amadeus' wife is Anne (Marguerite) de Bourgogne, born in 1192 and died in 1242 - father: Hugh III of Burgundy, Duke of Burgundy, b. 1148; mother: Beatrix de Viennois, Dauphinee de Viennois, b. 1161. [47927] Find A Grave memorial 204794439 offers Michael's obituary: "Michael Joseph Tulumello, 62, journalist and sportswriter, died suddenly on June 12, 2018. He was known as the 'guy in the hat' on press row at Phoenix Suns games during a long sportswriting career with Tribune Newspapers. He also had another side: as a no-holds-barred news reporter and opinions writer for the Tribune and other publications. Mike was born September 17, 1955, in Buffalo, NY, welcomed by his father, Joe, a man of great warmth and compassion; and his mother, Nina, whose faith, efficiency and attention to detail also influenced her son. The family moved from Buffalo in 1961 and Mike put down roots, attending St. Agnes Elementary School in Phoenix and Tempe McClintock High School, where he made lifelong friends. His mom typed up Mikes first newspaper stories for the school paper and the old Tempe Daily News, because he was not always the master of the keyboard on deadline. Mike attended Arizona State University, where he was named outstanding journalism graduate in 1978. He made his mark as a sportswriter by reporting on football coach Frank Kushs problems for ASUs State Press newspaper and immediately after graduation was hired by the Mesa Tribune. He covered the Phoenix Suns during their 1990s glory days with Charles Barkley, Kevin Johnson and Coach Paul Westphal. He also worked for the Associated Press, Phoenix New Times and, briefly, for The Arizona Republic. He married his wife, Kathy, in 1986. Family always came first for Mike as he juggled work, travel and deadlines. He took his sons to Suns practices, giving them memories of a lifetime. Mike also was a longtime volunteer for the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and a frequent visitor to Kevin Saunders Arizona Bible Class there. He loved road trips, particularly for ASU sports; pinot grigio; headphone radios; and the hottest salsa he could find. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; sons Andrew and Matthew; sister, Lisa Collinsworth; brother, Angelo (Rauna); aunt, Lena Siar; a niece, seven nephews and their children; and numerous cousins, including Arizona residents Susan Collinsworth (Jim), Raymond LoTempio (Donna) and Steven LoTempio (Lisa)."
