[13272] Ruth Nelson of Montage, MI wrote in 1998: "My Kyle connection is Allen Jefferson Kyle b. 1820 in PA (Lancaster Co,?) Lived and married Anna Brillhart in Stark Co. OH in 1845. Moved to Freeport, Stephenson Co, IL in 1850. Died Villisca, IA in 1903. I believe Allen's father is Lewis Kyle b. PA 1789 m. 2 Sarah Snyder of Lancaster Co., PA. in 1825. I know Allen had at least 1 bro and 1 sis." An unverified posting in Ancestry.com states Allen is son of Lewis Kyle (b. 13 March 1787 in PA, d. 1 June 1858 in Freeport, IL). The unverified Sigler Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2015 offers: "When Allen Kefferson Kyle was born on November 24, 1820, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, his father, Lewis, was 33 and his mother, Nancy, was 36. He married Anna Brillhart and they had 11 children together. He then married Rebecca Jane White on August 13, 1878, in Danville, Illinois. He died on July 22, 1903, in Villisca, Iowa, having lived a long life of 82 years, and was buried there." See Find A Grave Memorial 87491455.
