"The Standard [Lykens, PA], 8 November 1912," p. 1: "Elias Schoffstall, who had been ill with dropsy for the past eighteen months died at his home at Gratz on Sunday morning, Oct. 27th. He was a son of the late Samuel and Susannah Schoffstall, born March 6, 1857, was baptized the following June and confirmed as a member of the Reformed church April 13, 1878 by Rev. W. G. Engle. In 1881 he was married to Catharine Buffington who died in May, 1903 and on June 2nd, 1906 he was married again to Emma Jane Duttery who survives him; also three children. His age was 55 yrs. 7 mos 21 das."

Christina Heim was born on June 26, 1806, in Lower Mahanoy, Pennsylvania . . . . She died on May 4, 1880, in Berrysburg, Pennsylvania, at the age of 73."
