[8803] The News-Chronicle {Shippensburg, PA], 2 March 1956, p. 11: Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Feb. 26 from the J. R. Shulenberger funeral home, Carlisle, for Ralph F. Finkenbinder, Plainfield, who died at his home early Friday morning. Rev. Earl Moseman officiated and burial was in Prospect Hill cemetery near Newville. Born June 22, 1902 in Cumberland county, Mr. Finkenbinder was a son of the late John and Mary E. Hollenbaugh Finkenbinder. He was a member of the Diller. Mennonite church and was employed at the H. Masland and sons plant in Carlisle for the past 32 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna May Stouffer Finkenbinder; two daughters, Miss Nancy Ann Finkenbinder, at home, and Mrs. David H. Myers Jr., Plainfield; a brother, John E. Finkenbinder, Newville; four sisters, Mrs. George Weigle, Mrs. Herman Zimmerman, Mrs. Samuel Rowers and Miss Martha Finkenbinder, all of Carlisle, and three grandchildren.

[21230] Harrison m. (1) 31 July 1870 in Blue Hill, ME to Adelina Leach. Harrison worked as a teamster based in Hallowell, ME and died on the job in Rhode Island. He and Adelina had Luther (1871-1949), Howard (1879-1954), Eldora (1876-1888), Mille (1873-1952, m. 30 June 1888 Lewis Ames) and Dora (1887-1972). Cynthia Hinton, his greatgranddaughter, reports: "He had 4 children by his first wife, Adelina Leach, and then married Louisa Jane Beckwith Leighton who was a widow already with 4 children, and then, they together had another 5! Louisa Jane had a common nickname in the 1950's as Grammy Gray; she was totally blind in her aged years, but very sharp of mind. I believe she lived to be 91! I am named for her mother, Cynthia Louisa O'Brien Beckwith of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick."

This presentment owned by Jane Andrews and John Andrews her husband, in five pound Bond, is bound thus: Jane his wife shall stand a town meeting at York, and at a town meeting at Kittery, till two hours time be expired, with her offence written in Capital Letters pinned upon her forhead.
