Bobby will always be remembered for his love of the sea from boating on Penobcot Bay in his youth to more recently Captaining ocean going tugs from New York to Texas and Puerto Rico. He built the first set of docks on the Bangor waterfront. He also owned and operated Northeast Marine and worked on the Maine Coast with his own tugboat and barge. Bobby is survived by his son, Robert; sister, Susan (Tom) Lynch; brother, James (Beverly) Twitchell; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Twitchell."
