[46492] "Los Angeles Times, 20 December 2002": "Marston, Virginia Slason Vosburg (1913-2002) - Born March 20, 1913 in Pasadena, California, the daughter of Roydon Vosburg and Elizabeth McMechen Vosburg died Dec. 17, 2002.Virginia attended Polytechnic and the Westridge School for Girls, from 1918 to the 1920's. In the 1930's she attended Mills College. After a brief employment with the Ford Motor Co., Virginia in 1937 married Paul Hatfield Marston; son of Sylvanus B. and Edith Marston of Pasadena. They made their home in the Pasadena area until the onset of World War II, where they resided in Phoenix, Arizona for several years while Paul acted as a field director for the American Red cross. At the wars conclusion they again made their home inn San Marino where Virginia was homemaker and Paul practiced civil law in Pasadena. Virginia was active in the community, highlighted by 50 years as a volunteer for the American Red cross in the Blood Donor Program in the Southern California area. She was also a member of the Pasadena Junior League and the Valley Hunt Club. Virginia's personal interests and hobbies were diverse including bridge, furniture upholstery, fishing, the Dodgers, and later, traveling with the reluctantly retired Paul to Europe and Mexico. She was the beloved mother of son and daughter-in-law Robert Keith and Rita Marston of Murrieta, California and daughter Sally Ann Marston of Seattle, Washington. She was the proud grandmother to Erin Marin and great-grandmother of Anna Marin of Chino, California. She will be solely missed for her humor and wisdom. In lieu of flowers, please make remembrances to the American Red Cross."
