Manasser Biset's parentage is unknown but he had a brother, William Biset, to whom he gave the manor of East Bridgford, co. Nottingham. William Biset (brother of Manasser Biset) is ancestor of the Chaworth family which later held East Bridgeford, co. Nottingham.'"
