[45537] Abram was superintendent at Hecla Mines for 21 years. He belonged to First Presbyterian Church in Greensburg, PA. where he served as an Elder for many years. He was also a director of the Union Trust Co. of Pittsburgh, PA.
[60003] Gloria is daughter of Elmer Dalton Reed (1893-1992) & Della M Goodwin (1891-1971; m. 21 December 1912). "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 10 April 2018: "Franklin, Maine - Gloria Reed Mosley, 88, passed away on April 7, 2018, at a local health care facility. Her strong will and health succumbed to dementia, which she fought valiantly for several years. Gloria was born on October 16, 1929, in Franklin, the youngest of six children born to the late E. Dalton and Della Goodwin Reed. Gloria had a feisty spirit which endeared her to the children she fed while cooking for many years at Mountain View School. Her many friends and acquaintances will remember her quick wit, and sharp responses. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray L. Mosley (April 2011); her sisters, Avis Grindle, Erma Williams and Adah Piper; brothers, Dalton and Lloyd; and granddaughter, Rae Lynn. Those family members who hold her in their loving memory are her daughters, JoAnn Cawood (Roy Glodis) of Portsmouth, VA, and Diane Connelly (Tim) of Waldoboro; sons, Norman (Marghi) of Bridgewater, NJ, Randy (Regina) of Ellsworth and Steven (Julie) of Franklin; six cherished grandchildren, Nathan, Randi Lynn, Katelyn, Matthew, Allyson and Donald; great-granddaughter, Blake; and great-grandson, Donald III. Also surviving Gloria are seven nephews and two nieces. She will be especially missed by special friends, Albert Richards and Tabatha Coombs, who were instrumental in helping her remain at home for so many years."
