Reginald is son of Calvin A. Dyer (b. in 1883) & Hazel L. Hardison (b. in 1890; m. 8 August 1908 in ME). "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 10 April 2009": "Eastbrook - Reginald Preston Dyer passed away peacefully April 5, 2009, at the age of 82. He was born Jan. 30, 1927, in Franklin, to Calvin and Hazel (Hardison) Dyer.
In 1947, he married Dorethea Grindle of Somes Sound. They shared 43 happy years together until her death in 1990. Preston attended local schools until 1944 when he enlisted in the Marines and was sent to the South Pacific to serve during World War II. He was a member of the Franklin Veterans Club. From a young age Preston loved airplanes and anything to do with flying. He received his pilots license during the late 1940s. Preston is survived by his son, Reginald Preston Dyer Jr., of Naugatauk, Conn.; and his six daughters and their spouses, Bethany and Christian Hansen of Eastbrook, Darlene and David Puckey of Waltham, Cheryl and Ricky Karlinsky of Shelton, Conn., Georgia and Lorenzo Creamer III of Steuben, Janeen and Michael Mastroserio of Eastbrook, and Kimberly and Richard Spezzano of Riverside, Conn. He leaves 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind two special sisters-in-law, Sibby Gillon and Jeanette Hanscome. Preston was predeceased by his parents; a very close sister, Sylvia Nickerson of Franklin, three other sisters; and two brothers. He was the youngest and last of his siblings."

Raker on March 17, 1946 in Princeton, Illinois. He served in the United States Army during WW II earning the bronze star for heroism. Later he farmed south of Walnut for many years and worked at Walnut Farm Equipment until his retirement. He was a member of the Walnut Community Bible Church and the Walnut American Legion Post #172. He is survived by his wife Gertrude Eckberg of Walnut, Illinois; three daughters Karen (Leland) Johnson of Winnebago, Illinois, Julie (Michael) Hubbell of Dixon, Illinois, Angela (Jody) Davis of Walnut, Illinois; one son Rev. Ronald (Judy) Eckberg of Erie, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren ; one brother Lester Eckberg of Princeton, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and seven brothers."

[4174] John's obituary reports: "He was born April 21, 1930, the son of Ralph and Lorna (Pierce) Paullin Sr. He married Doris Wachtel on Dec. 30, 1948. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in December. John was co-owner of Paullin Milk Cartridge along with his brothers and brother-in-law. He retired in 1995 after hauling milk for over 50 years. He was a member of Lakeville United Methodist Church and a previous member of the Lakefork Cemetery Association. He enjoyed following West Holmes girls and boys basketball teams over the years, playing cards and jigsaw puzzles. He enjoyed traveling and taking bus trips with his wife, making many new friends over the years during their travels. He enjoyed get-togethers with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John was a member of the coffee club that would meet every morning at Mellors Restaurant in Loudonville. He looked forward to these times with his coffee drinking friends."
