[28764] The 1930 federal census lists him in Scranton, PA. An unverified file in Ancestry.com suggests he is son of Andrew Macinsky (b. 1875, son of John Macinsky), but states Michael m. Macinsky Sr., 1330 Madison Ave., Dunmore, died this morning in Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. His wife, the former Mary Hudak, died April 23, 1973. A son of the late Alex and Mary Kozey Macinsky, he was a member of John's Byzantine Catholic Church, and its Holy Name Society. Mr. Macinsky, a veteran of World War 1, was employed by the Hudak Electric Motor Co., prior to his retirement. Surviving are two sons, Michael Jr., Levittown, and Robert, Smoke Rise, N.J.; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Gastinger, Dunmore; and Mrs. Pat Pearson, Petersburg, Va., and Mrs. Nancy Payton, Fairfax, Va.; two sisters; Mrs. Ann Ropitsky, and Sue Suppy, Scranton; a brother Alex Sr., Scranton; 22 grandchildren; a great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
