He was employed with Schmidts Super Market for 25 years, and was a member of the Schmidt Brothers Bowling team. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lansing. Surviving are the wife Naomi; 1 son, John A. Shoemaker of Bladensburg. Maryland; 1 daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Beecher of Ypsilanti, 7 grandchildren; 2 greatgrandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Robert Milley of Paradise, Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be held Mon. 10 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runchiman Lansing Chapel with Rev. Wm. H. Underwood of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Deepdale Memorial Park."

Hubbs, of Mansfield, and four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren."
