Children in the household: Hazel (21, "instructress" in a correspondence school), Catherine (19, clerk a correspondence school), John (17), Wendell (16), Annetta (13), Lois (11), Mary (10), George (8), Martha (5-9/12) and William (2-9/12). An unverified file in OneWorldTree in 2011 states he is George Evans Jones, b. 10 Sept 1882 in Agmor Valley, Wales, d. 24 Nov 1952 in Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA, son of John Neath Jones (b. 18 May 1848 in Neath, Wales, d. 1 Nov 1906 in Welschmer Carry Town) and Catherine Mary Davies (b. 22 Sept 1865, d. 23 Nov 1933); this file states his wife is Martha Elizabeth Evans (b. 9 Dec 1882 in Swansea, Wales, d. 25 April 1965 in Dunmore, PA). He was a member of Dunmore Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Martha; six daughters, Mrs. John Morgan and Mrs. Clyde Chase, Scranton; Mrs. James OHora, North Bergen, N. J.; Mrs. Morgan Williams, Dunmore; Mrs., Francis Eiden, Jersey City, N. J., and Mrs. Leo Hungerhbuhler, Elmhurst; four sons, John N., Linden, N. J.; Wendell R., Sioux City, Iowa; George, Jefferson, S. D., and William T., this City, and three brothers, Idris and Thomas H. Jones, Scranton, and William D. Jones, Marcus Hook. The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a. m. from the home with the Rev. E. A. Dowey, Dunmore Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery."
