"South Bend News-Times, 29 July 1915," p. 12: "The funeral of Mrs. Hannah Shroyer, a well known resident of this communtv who died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Rufus McDowell, of Dunlaps, Tuesday afternoon, was held Thursday, with services at the Dunlaps Evangelical church at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. A. Knepper of Urbana and Rev. Mr. Young of New Paris. Mrs. Shroyer, who came to Dunlaps in 1865, was born in Summit county, Ohio, 79 years ago. Her husband, William Shroyer, died in 1904. Surviving her are the daughter named and Mrs. Edwin Myers, Mrs. B. F. Roland and Mrs. J. R. Weatherhead, all of this city. Frank Harding of Elkhart is a brother and Mrs. Eliza Raber of Elkhart is a sister. Mrs. Shroyer, who suffered from a tumor, had been unconscious since Saturday night."

He was a military leader and dominated the reign in France of his nephew Louis X. When Pedro III of Aragón was excommunicated in 1284, Pope Martin IV made him king of Aragón and Sicily but he was defeated and in 1290 renounced his claim. In return he received Anjou and Maine as part of her dowry. During his second marriage to Catherine de Courtenay, Titular Empress of Constantinople, he unsuccessfully sought to obtain the crowns of the Byzantine and Holy Roman empires. His third wife was Mahaut de Châtillon-sur-Marne, Countess of St. Pol. (from 1344) Marguerite was daughter of Charles II of Sicily, Napoli and Jerusalem and Maria of Hungary, and among her 6 children was Philippe VI, who succeeded to the French throne in 1328."

[2183] AKA Gruffydd ap Llywelyn, Griffith I was Prince of North Wales, king of Gwynedd & Powys, 1039, and of Deheubarth, 1055. He was the only Welsh king ever to rule over its entire territory, from about 1057 to his death in 1063. See discussion in "A History of Wales," John Davies (1993), pp. 100-01. In 2007 http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/WALES.htm offers: "Gruffydd ap Llywellyn (-killed Snowdonia 5 Aug 1063). He succeeded in 1039 as Gruffydd Prince of Gwynedd and Powys. He accompanied Svein Godwinsson, son of Godwin Earl of Wessex, on an expedition into South Wales in 1046. He made himself ruler of all of Wales. Allied with Ælfgar ex-Earl of East Anglia, son of Leofric Earl of Mercia, he invaded England and sacked Hereford Oct 1055. Peace was negotiated by Leofric Earl of Mercia and Harold Earl of Wessex, under which Gruffydd swore allegiance to King Edward 'the Confessor'. Leofgar, recently appointed Bishop of Hereford, led an army against Gruffydd but was defeated and killed 16 Jun 1056. He started raiding England again after Ælfric Earl of Mercia died [1062]. England launched a full-scale campaign against him, led by Tostig Earl of Northumbria invading north Wales and Harold raiding the southern coast. Gruffydd was not caught by this pincer movement but was killed by his own men. m firstly ---. m secondly ([1058]) as her first husband, Ealdgyth of Mercia, daughter of Ælfgar Earl of Mercia & his first wife Ælfgifu.
