[13869] The 1920 federal census in St. Thomas, Franklin Co., PA states Calvin is a farm laborer "working out" and his wife, Ellen, is a housekeeper also "working out" and they own their home.
[38389] FindAGrave.com offers: "Aaron Plumer was born in Newbury, Ma. Jan 16, 1692/1693. He was a housewright by trade, and lived in his native town until 1725, when he bought of Lionel Chute thirty acres of land in the adjacent town of Rowley on which he built a house in the following winter. He conveyed the house and land to his father-in-law Ebenezer Hidden May 11, 1726. Mr. Hidden in turn conveyed the estate to Aaron's father Joseph Plumer, in the succeeding autumn. In 1728 some two years before moving there, ,Aaron Plumer received from the town of scarborough, a grant of land on condition that he settle on it. He sold his interest in it however. Aaron was living in Rowley in 1730. He bought of Nathaniel Dole of Newbury one-half of what was then called Winnock's Neck . Soon afterward he removed to Scarborough, Me., settling on his purchase which subsequently became known as Plumer's Neck, where his descendants resided for many years. Aaron Plumer married, first, Elizabeth, daughter of Ebenezer Hidden of Rowley (published Feb. 14, 1718/1719). He and his wife 'owned the covenant' of the Rowley church Dec. 16, 1722. After the death of Elizabeth before 1749, Aaron married, second, Elizabeth Howard in Scarboro March 29, 1749. "
