Apr. 12, 1923-Vol. 2, No. 13: Funeral services were held from the Christian church Sunday afternoon for the late William S. Charles, age 64 years, who died Apr. 5 as a result of the injuries during a recent accident. Rev. Zackman, of Butler, was in charge and burial was made in the Bellville Cemetery. Mr. Charles was a life long resident of Richland county and for a number of years past, had lived in Bellville. He is survived by the wife and two sons, Ora of Mansfield and Lloyd of Butlter."

She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Roy Sr.; sons, Roy Jr. and John and wife, Laurie; son-in-law, Joey Salls; grandsons, Christopher and Andrew; and granddaughters, Miranda, Renee, Sarah and Amber. Ellen loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. Caring for children was Ellen's main goal in life. Ellen worked for many years as a nanny taking care of them in their homes. They all became part of Ellen's extended family."
