Born February 4, 1924 in Shelby to Clinton and Sarah (Clark) Cooper, she had been a lifelong Shelby resident. A 1942 graduate of Shelby High School, she had been employed at Shelby Salesbook Company, retiring in 1979. Donna's favorite pastime was to hunt through antique shops and garage sales searching for special treasures for her home and family. She enjoyed crocheting afghans and making quilts as gifts for loved ones. Donna was well known for her incredible memory and never forgot a name or face. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Raymond C. and Geraldine Risner of Bellville and R. Scott Risner of Shelby; one daughter, Margie L. Taylor of Shelby; one step-daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Bill Whechel of Marion, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Risner in 2005 and daughter, Sue Elliott in 2002."

[217] "The Akron Beacon Journal, 9 September 1950," p. 8: "Uniontown - Services for Samuel Myers, 78, will be at 2 p. m. Sunday at Myers Funeral Home, Greentown. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. A retired carpenter, he died Thursday in Akron City Hospital after three weeks' illness. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Estella M. Sells, Canton, and Mrs. Emma Mangrum, Akron, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a brother, Albert, Akron." The 1900 federal census shows Samuel and wife "Rena M." r. Green Twp., Liberty Precinct, Summit Co., OH with daughter Estella E. Myers. A death record on-line states he d. in Akron, OH. Levi secured a guardianship in the Summit County Court for their father's estate for Albert Myers, age 12, and Samuel Myers, age 11, on 1 May 1883.

He was born at Harrington Oct. 24, 1883, the son of Stephen and Alfreda (Fickett) Strout. He had been a deacon of the First Baptist Church in Bar Harbor for 35 years. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Helen (Hanscom) Strout of Hulls Cove; one son, Alvah, of Hulls Cove; three daughters, Mrs. James (Alfreda) Stanley of Tremont, Mrs. Francis (Louise) Manza of Annandale, Va., and Mrs. Millard (Claire) Nickerson, of Augusta; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Flora Randall of Harrington and Mrs. Beatrice Ryan of New York City; one brother, Ansel, of Harrington; two sisters, Mrs. John (Alta) Plummer of Harrington and Mrs. Earl (Mamie) Ramsdell of Columbia Falls; 13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews."
