[12076] Constance is daughter of Alphonso VII, King of Castile and Leon, but we do not know her mother (although Leo van de Pas' web site, http://www.genealogics.org, attributes her to Berengaria of Barcelona). Louis affianced their daughter Marguerite by the treaty of Gizors (1158) to Henry, eldest son of the English king, promising the Vexin and Gisors as dowry; Marguerite m. (2) in 1188 Bela III, King of Hungary. Louis' second daughter with Constance was Adelaide, betrothed to Richard the Lionhearted but finally married in 1195 to William III, Count of Ponthieu.

[5475] Catherine is dau. of Christian August, Prince of Anhalt, and Johanna Elisabeth of Lubeck (whose father is Christian August, Prince-Bishop of Lubeck). http://www.guide2womenleaders.com offers: ". . . she was born as Princess Sophia Augusta zu Anhalt-Zerbst. Her refinement and love of study contrasted with her husband, Peter of Holstein-Gottorp's vulgarity and intemperance; neglected by him, she ingratiated herself with some of the nobles. Her intrigues were discovered by Peter and, on ascending the throne in 1762, he threatened to repudiate her, whereupon she imprisoned him and had him strangled. The subsequent murder of Ivan, the next heir, left Catherine in undisputed possession of the throne. She supported progressive ideas, such as reforms in law, education, and provincial and municipal administration, but she ruled as an autocrat and suppressed Polish nationalists, which led to Poland's partition, and took the Crimea and parts of the Black Sea coast from Turkey. In 1762 Siberia was created a separate Kingdom in a Personal union with Russia until it was incorporated in the Empire. She was also famous for her long succession of young lovers. 1773 she exchanged the Russian claims to Holstein-Gottorp with the Counties of Oldenburg-Delmenhorst and in 1793 she inherited Jever from brother and appointed her sister-in-law as administrator."

[52476] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine].," 21 December 2022: "Blue Hill - rgaret Anne (Snow) Robertson, 91, passed away on Dec. 11, 2022, at her home in Blue Hill. Peggy was born April 17, 1931, in Blue Hill, the daughter of Charles and Virginia (Allen) Snow. Peggy attended George Stevens Academy and graduated in 1949. Although active in many activities in school, basketball was where she excelled. Many of her teammates continued to be lifelong friends. Basketball continued to be an important part of her life and she went to as many home games as she could up until a few years ago. On Oct. 20, 1956, she married Fernald W. Robertson. They raised two children, Lynne and Barry, in their Greenes Hill home. When her family got old enough to go to school, Peggy started working at George Stevens Academy to help make ends meet. She stayed for 31 years, starting out as librarian, then in the cafeteria. She became famous for the GSA yeast rolls and former students still remark about them. Peggy loved to knit, bird watch, visit the neighbors, photograph nature and tend to her gardens. She kept the men in her life in boot socks for hunting, the kids in mittens and newborns in baby booties. Since Peg had married into a firefighting family, she joined the Blue Hill Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, stepping down as secretary only a few years ago. Peggy had many sayings, but as she got older it was 'Getting old isnt for sissies.' Despite not being able to do what she used to, she dealt with it with a quick wit and a sense of humor that kept us on our toes and in stitches. She set the bar high for growing old with grace and humor. Many thanks to those on 'Team Peggy' for the wonderful caregiving, enabling her to stay in her own home. Much appreciation goes to the Palliative Care and Hospice team for their support. To quote Peggy from her speech at her GSA retirement party, 'Its been a good ride.' She leaves her daughter Lynne Clark and husband, Tim, and her son, Barry. She also leaves '#2 Son' John Herrick, dear friends Joyce Buzzell, Sandy Clapp, Dennis and Dolly Robertson and her feline friend, Lacey. Peggy was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 56 years, Fern Robertson, in 2010 and #3 Son Davey Williams in 2021."
