[38112] Harry's obituary was published 3 Dec 1953 in "The Rochester News-Sentinel": "Harry Dale Henderson, 48, died at 7:15 Wednesday evening at the home of his mother, Mrs. Carrie Henderson, 530 1/2 Main street, this city. He had been seriously ill since Saturday morning. He was born in Rochester on Dec. 12, 1905, to John and Carrie Briney Henderson and had resided here all his life. Mr. Henderson was employed at the Rochester Metal Products Company. He was a member of the Eagles lodge. Survivors are his mother; a daughter, Mary [Henderson]; two grandchildren; a brother, Donald [Henderson], of Rochester."

Plummer moved on from this world surrounded by his loving family February 28, 2023, in his hometown, Harrington, Maine. Born June 27, 1939, to Roland S. and Vera (McEacharn) Plummer, Mike was fascinated by how things worked from an early age - anything with moving parts. As a young man Mike worked on sardine boats, at the blueberry factory and other local jobs. He graduated Harrington High in 1957, then earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from University of Maine at Orono, where he was in the U.S. Army ROTC program. Following in his father's footsteps, Mike became an Anah Shriner. While at UMO, he began dating his childhood friend, Marion Ramsdell, who was teaching in Orono. Mike was recruited by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, and after graduation in 1961, Mike and Marion became husband and wife and soon moved to Connecticut. They started a family while Mike served in the Army, being stationed in Alabama and Germany then Vietnam. Mike was honorably discharged with a rank of Captain after five years of service. He resumed his career at Pratt & Whitney, and Marion taught school. Mike was proud to have participated in the development of the PW4000 series jet engines currently used to power Boeing 747/767, Airbus A300/310 and KC-46A aircraft across passenger, cargo and military applications. Raising his family in Connecticut, Mike enjoyed boating, motorcycling, outdoor sports, was active in Boy Scouts, and a longtime member and officer of Andover Sportsmen's Club. He and Marion enjoyed being soccer parents and UConn basketball season ticket holders. Retiring after nearly 40 years, Mike and Marion moved home to Guard Point in Harrington, set out some lobster traps and shared the abundant beauty of Pleasant Bay with grandchildren, family and friends. Mike served his community as Town Selectman, Captain of Harrington Volunteer Fire Department, member of the American Legion and board member of Harrington Health Center. He could also be found tending his blueberries, mowing public lands, improving local roads and maintaining cemeteries. He was an avid fan of local youth sports. Standing 6' 4," Mike had a presence, he was a friend to all. His soft-spoken wit put you at ease immediately and his can-do attitude was backed up with ingenuity and perseverance. Mike was a delight and an inspiration. Mike's memory lives on in his beloved wife of 62 years, Marion; three children, Michael Roland Plummer and his wife, Barbara, Elizabeth (Betsy) Simonetti, her husband, John and Emily Haskell and her husband, Joseph; six grandchildren, Jane Barbara Plummer, Abby Elizabeth Plummer, Michael Roland Plummer Jr., Angela Marie Simonetti, Wyatt Joseph Haskell and Audrey Elizabeth Haskell; sisters-in-law, Lillian Shaw, and Gloria Flaherty; special lifelong friends, Everett Ramsdell (brother-in-law), Peter Plummer (cousin), and Bud Carter (neighbor); and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mike was predeceased by his devoted parents; several uncles and aunts, including his special aunt, Esther; mother-in-law, Flora Grant Ramsdell; father-in-law, Andrew Jackson Ramsdell; sisters-in-law, Violet LeMay and her husband, John, Rosemarie Palmer, Joyce Woodward and her husband, Homer Woodward Sr., Margorie Openshaw Ramsdell; brothers-in-law, Andrew Ramsdell Jr., Raymond Shaw Jr. and Stanley Flaherty; and dear nieces, nephews and friends."

She and her husband, John R., a cabinet maker, moved to Akron in 1917. She was active in the Home and School League, serving as a director of the North High unit. She began the health foods business in 1938. The store is still operating, under different owners, at 278 S. Main st. Mrs. Alexander was a member of the Unitarian-Universalist Church and the Bath Grange. She was a life member of the National Health Federation. Besides her husband, she leaves son Donald W., Akron; daughter Margaret, at home, and two grandchildren." Celeste is daughter of Colvenus Snyder (1851-1928) and Emma Matilda Serfass (1858-1933).
