[29142] Benjamin's obituary in The Herald of Truth: "On the 20th of Feb.1898 at the home of his son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Christian Horst, near East Greenville, Stark Co., Ohio, Benjamin Brenneman, aged 79 years, 8 months and 15 days. He was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., June 5th 1818. He was married to Mary Hursh, who preceded him to the glory world about ten years ago. He leaves six children, twenty five grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister to mourn his departure. He was a consistent member of the Mennonite Church for many years. He took sick very suddenly with paralysis, of which he suffered only about five days when the Lord released him from his pain, and he has now gone home, we hope, to meet the loved ones who have gone before. Since the death of his wife, he had his home among some of his children where he is greatly missed. Funeral on Tuesday Feb. 22nd. Buried at the Martin M. H., where services were conducted by Bro. I. J. Buchwalter at the house and Bro. D. Garber and Bro. D. Hostetler at the church, from 1 Cor. 15:54." See http://aqua.dev.uga.edu/~lebo/brenneman-pa_geno.html for ancestry.
[47400] Find A Grave memorial 40469945 offers: "It is very likely Jacob Byerly was buried in Saxonburg Cemetery because Sarverville Cemetery was not established at the time of his death. Then a stone was erected for him in Sarverville with the rest of his family at a later time. But they also left the original stone in Saxonburg Cemetery."

http://www.medievalgenealogy.org.uk/cp/kerry.shtml in 2003 offers: "...corrections and additions to the Complete Peerage: Volume 7: Kerry - Volume 7, page 200: [The chart pedigree shows] Juliane [the wife of] Thomas de Clare, d. 1287 [and] Amabel, d. s.p. [as the daughters of] Maurice f. Maurice, Justiciar; d. 1286 [by] Emeline de Longespee. Emmeline was the daughter of Stephen de Longespee, a younger son of William de Longespee, Earl of Salisbury (d. 1225/6). She was clearly not the mother of Maurice fitz Maurice's daughter Julian. According to the Victoria County History, Berkshire, vol. 4, pp. 158-159, Emmeline did not marry Maurice until 1272-3 (no source for this statement is cited, however), whereas Julian was married to Thomas de Clare by February 1274/5 [Cal. Documents Ireland, vol. 3, no 1142]. When Emmeline died, she had no descendants living, but Julian's grandsons by both her daughters were alive. At the Berkshire inquisition taken in 1332/3 after Emmeline's death, her heirs were stated to be Maud, sometime the wife of Robert de Houland, and Helen, her sister [Cal. Inq. p.m., vol. 7, no 442]. Maud and Helen were Emmeline's great nieces, the granddaughters of her sister Ela, the wife of Roger la Zouche [Complete Peerage, vol. 12, part 2, pp. 935, 936]. Julian's daughters by Thomas de Clare, Margaret and Maud, both married and had issue living in 1333 [Complete Peerage, vol. 1, pp. 372, 373; vol. 3, p. 291]. (There is no doubt that Julian was their mother, as in 1321 they were found to be heirs of Thomas de Clare, the son of Julian's son Richard - see Gloucester

the throne when the monarchy was restored after the overthrow of Napoleon
and ruled as a constitutional sovereign. Born in Versailles, he was the
brother of Louis XVI of France and in early life was known as the comte de
Provence. He remained in Paris after the outbreak of the French Revolution
in 1789 but escaped to Belgium two years later. After Louis XVI's
execution in 1793 he proclaimed himself regent, and after the death of his
brother's heir, Louis XVII, in 1795, he took the title Louis XVIII. He
lived as an exile in various European countries until he became king after
Napoleon's first abdication in 1814. On Napoleon's return to power in
1815, however, Louis again fled to Belgium; later the same year he was
restored to the throne after Napoleon's final defeat at Waterloo. The
Charter, or constitution, that he promulgated in 1814 established a
bicameral legislature, property qualifications for voters, and limitations
on freedom of the press. Beginning in 1816, Louis, influenced by his
liberal minister Élie Decazes (1780-1860), experimented with extending the
franchise and easing censorship. After 1820 he was increasingly dominated
by the reactionary Ultras, led by his brother, who succeeded to the throne
as Charles X on Louis's death.

Noah Jacob Huss was a veteran of the War of 1812 from Maryland. He was a York Volunteer. The British had burned Washington, D.C. in August 1814. This upset the Pennsylvania Dutch farmers. The British were getting too close to their lands and they didn't want their crops burned. Men from Lebanon, Bucks, Dauphin, Schuylkill, Lancaster, Berks, Chester, and York counties gathered. They marched from York, August 29, 1814. Noah joined them on August 30 as they marched toward Baltimore, Maryland. When they arrived they joined the troops at North Point, overlooking Fort McHenry. The infantry defended this place during the battle. Noah served in LtCol Cobean's Battalion of Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He was a private in Capt Robert Colvin's Company of Infantry. Noah was in service until September 18, 1814.
The family came to Green Creek in 1824, arriving late in the fall. They came to Ohio over the Zane Trail. Noah purchased 1,200 acres of land at $1.25 an acre, he wrote his own deeds. The family lived in their covered wagon until a log cabin was built in the woods in Section 18, on lands afterwards known as Kernahan farm. This location is on the present State Route 19, north of Green Springs. The early life of this hardy pioneer was beset with hardship and grave responsibilities, clearing the land for cultivation, rescuing the small crops from depredations of the wild life that resented intrusion, also, the fear of safety for the family from the members of the Seneca Indian Tribe which occupied lands in the vicinity.
Noah and Mary were married May 14, 1811. They had eleven children: Ellen, John, Christian, Barbara, Noah, James, Elijah, Mary Ann, Margaret Jane, Jacob, and Martha Malvina. Noah died at the age of 53 years, 5 months, and 1 day. His grave is marked by a plaque of the War of 1812.
