Find A Grave Memorial 107477104 offers: "Elizabeth de Ferrers Strathbogie Malewayn. Daughter of Henry de Ferrers, 2nd Lord Ferrers of Groby and Isabel de Verdun, daughter and co-heiress of Thebaud. Wife of David Strathbogie, 12th Earl of Atholl in Scotland, son of David de Strathbogie, killed fighting Sir Andrew Murray at the Battle of Culblean, and his widow, Katherine de Beaumont, who defended her castle on the island of Lochindorb. They married before 18 July 1356 and had two daughters; Elizabeth, wife of Sir John le Scrope, and Philippe, wife of Sir Ralph Percy. David died in 1369 and Elizabeth married again, to John Malewyn, the king's esquire, who died shortly before 19 June 1377."

[40623] Charles m. 16 May 1915 in Waterville, ME Carmeline Quirion (b. in Fairfield, Somerset Co., ME according to "Maine, Marriage Index, 1892-1966, 1977-1996," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KCJS-TD4 : 27 November 2014) - both bride and groom being age 21. Find A Grave states Charles was b. in St, Francois, Canada and is son of Philmore [Philomon] Fecteau & Amanda Grenier. The 11 April 1940 federal census in Waterville, Kennebec Co., ME lists him as a State "road patrolman" and provides his family which includes his mother, Amanda Claise (age 73, b. in Canada) and his step-father, Tom Claise (age 73, b. in ME). The 1930 federal census in Waterville lists Charles (a "patrol man)" and wife and others in the household of his mother's second husband, Thomas Clair [sic] with Amanda, Thomas' wife. Charles is listed as a Warden in 1940-1941 by Albert C. Fecteau in his M.A. thesis "Community of Waterville, Maine" in June, 1952 at the University of Maine.

He was a lifelong resident of the Adario area. He was a farmer and operated a fertilizer warehouse. He was a member of the Adario Methodist Church. His survivors include his wife, Oris; one daughter, Mrs. Norma Mast of Wadsworth; one son, Larry of Ashland; one sister, Mrs. Miriam Myers of Ashland and three grandchildren."
