[12315] William was appointed Archbishop of York in 1142 and was hounded from the see by those who charged simony (he is nephew of King Stephen), mostly of the newly arrived White Monks supported by St. Bernard of Clairvaux. He then retired as a monk at Winchester, living a very humble life, but finally was restored to the see of York. His feast day is June 8th. See http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/15628c.htm

[6909] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Llywelyn_Fawr offers a different ancestry and states "Marared ferch Llywelyn (c. 1198-after 1263) married John de Braose of Bramber and Gower, a nephew of Reginald de Braose, by whom she had at least three sons. After his death in 1232, she married Walter III de Clifford of Bronllys and Clifford Castle with whom she had a daughter, Matilda Clifford. Other daughters were Gwenllian ferch Llywelyn, who married William de Lacy,."
