[8927] News-Journal [Mansfield, OH], 10 January 1979, p. 18: SHELBY - Clarence A. Bly, 72, Ganges, RD 1 died Tuesday in Mansfield General Hospital following a one-month illness. He was born in Cass Township June 25, 1906, and spent his entire life in the Ganges area. He was a John Deere farm implements dealer for 44 years and was an auctioneer. Mr. Bly was a member of the Ganges Community United Church of Christ, Shiloh Masonic Lodge No. 522, and AM, Shelby Lodge No. 178, RAM, and the State of Ohio Implement Dealers Association. He is survived by his wife, Nina Charles Bly; one son, Charles of Ganges; one daughter, Mrs. Royal (Geanette ) Allard of Shelby; two brothers, Ralph of Shelby and James of Mansfield ; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
