[13303] "Aurora News-Register [Aurora, Nebraska], 11 September 1903, p. 1: "Mrs. Maria Leymaster who has been lying very sick at the home of her son Henry Leymaster northeast of Aurora for the past two months died Monday evening Sept. 7, 1903 at 8 o'clock aged 71 years 3 months and 18 days, from a complication of diseases that have been troubling her for the past six months or more. Maria Rrillhart was born in Stark county, Ohio, May 20, 1832 afterwards moving with her parents to Illinois In November 1853, she was united in marriage to Adam S. Leymaster and to this union were born six sons, two of whom died in infancy, leaving four, Cyrus, Henry, Calvin and Ira, all living in this county and all were present during her sickness and burial. In the spring of 1873, she, along with her husband and family moved to this county, settling on a homestead northeast of Aurora about ten miles. Since the death of her husband about three years ago she has made her home with her son Henry. Besides the four sons she leaves four sisters to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother and affectionate sister."
