She married Commodus in A.D. 177 and was given the title Augusta. To judge from her coin portraits she was beautiful. She was accused of adultery, exiled to Capri, and executed. Lucilla, the sister of Commodus, met the same fate when she was accused of plotting against him. Little else is known of Crispina's life. The reverses of her coins depict the usual goddesses and personifications appropriate to the empress and to the celebration of the imperial marriage. On this coin Pudicitia, the personification of chastity and modesty, is characterized by the veil she pulls across her face. The portrait on the obverse depicts a beautiful young woman wearing her hair braided around the face and backward into a bun."

He was born in Bar Harbor, Maine, on Sept. 23, 1942, the son of Charles and Lurlene (Black) Fowler. Donnie graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1961. During his high school years, he was an accomplished basketball and track athlete. In 1961 he was named to the Eastern Maine All-Tournament Basketball Team. Donnie also excelled at 100 and 220 dashes, the pole vault and javelin. It was once quoted that he was one of the best all-around track men ever to come out of Ellsworth High School. Some said he had 'springs' in his steps. . . . "

Albert ("Bert") was a Maine Guide, trapper and sportcamp operator. He drowned on Little Jo-Mary Lake while crossing it with a client. He operated his camp, Buckhorn Camp, built in 1895 with his brother, Guy, at the outlet of Middle Jo-Mary Lake - see http://www.buckhorncampsmaine.com.. Bert and Guy had prevously resided in Hancock Co., ME at Eagle Lake and Nicatou Lake where they operated a sporting camp and logged, and they came to the Middle Jo-Mary Lake via Norcross. Guy left their partnership in 1901 to establish his own sporting camp. Bert and Nellie spent their honeymoon by train to Norcross and then paddled by canoe around the lakes to select the best location for the camp. Bert and Guy built branch camps on other lakes.

"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 2 June 1927, p. 6: "On Saturday morning, May 28, Dr. James P. Russell of Brewer and Bert Haynes of Bangor, a famous guide, started on a fishing trip from Buck Horn Camps at Middle Jo Mary lake, of which Haynes is owner. At night they had not returned, and as late as Wednesday evening they still were missing. Searching parties have been out since Saturday night, and on Wednesday morning the canoe in which the missing men had started was found overturned on the shore of Lower Joe Mary lake, and in it were Dr. Russell's fishing tackle and lunch kit. Search for the missing men is yet In progress, but faint hope is held out for their safety, it being generally believed that both were drowned. Albert B. Haynes, the missing guide, resides at 73 Cottage street, Bangor. He has been at his camps at Middle Jo Mary since May 1. While expert at fishing and woodcraft, he was unable to swim, and his wife, while still hopeful of his safety, said last night that she feared he had been drowned. They have two married daughters and a son, Jasper. Dr. James P. Russell is one of Brewer's best known practicing physicians and has always been interested and familiar with fishing conditions on lakes and ponds in the state. He has a wife and two sons, one in the high school, and the other younger. He has lived in Brewer for about 10 years and has built up a large practice by faithful attention to business and his sympathetic understanding of conditions. The community was saddened by the report of the mishap which was current Wednesday, and further particulars are being anxiously awaited by all who knew him."

Larry was born December 22, 1933, son of Carroll Higgins and Carro (Richardson) Higgins Webber. Larry was a U S Marine Corps veteran, serving his country during the Korean War. After his military service he moved to Southern California, where he raised his family. Larry was a Letter Carrier with the U S Postal Service for 45 years. He moved to Pine City, NY, in November 2008 to be with his family. Larry was an avid California Angel's baseball fan, and while living in California loved to go to 'Blackie's By the Sea', a popular gathering place in Newport Beach. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Larry was also an avid gardener and reader. Larry is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Jean L. and Ernest Germano of New York; Robyn M. and Jesse Richardson of Montana; grandchildren, Christopher Germano, Marie (Chad) Payne, Matthew Germano, Michael Camporeale; great-grandchildren, Brody and Miles; step mother, Marjorie Higgins of Bangor; sisters and brother-in-law, Carol Higgins of Bangor; Jackie and Roy McFarland of Bar Harbor. [57764] Dana's obituary: "Dedham - Rev. Dana R. Perkins, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2016, with his loving family by his side, in Bangor. Dana was born on September 2, 1953, in Blaine, Maine, the son of the late Donald and Mary (Cousins) Perkins. He attended the Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota and was an ordained bishop with the Church of God at Cleveland, Tennessee. He pastored churches in Machias and Pittsfield and led Bible studies for several years. Dana was also employed as a car salesman for over 30 years in many of the local dealerships. He had a strong will and hard work ethic. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Laura Joy Perkins of Dedham; his daughter, Lindsay Worster and husband, Charlie, of Buxton; special grandson, Thomas Worster; siblings, Gerri Cushman and husband, Rev. Lewis Cushman, of Florida, Donna Campbell and husband, Rev. Terry Campbell, of Milford, Lois Miller and husband, James, of Glenburn, Stephen Perkins of Old Town, Debbie Bartlett and husband, Colin, of Orient, Sandra Robbins and husband, Wayne, of Old Town, Terry Perkins and wife, Kathy, of Corinth, and Tonya Perkins and husband, Saeed, of Brewer; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Galen."
