She went on to marry the love of her life, Ernest Beal from Jonesport, on June 27, 1952. They had five children, son Alton Beal and wife, Charleen, from Hancock, their sons Ernie and Adam, son Robert Beal and wife, Sheila, from Ellsworth and their children Tanya, Bridgette and Robbie, son Wayne Beal from Ellsworth and his children Nicki, Starr and Marsha, son Larry Beal from Ellsworth and his children Jason, Jared and Kayden, daughter Charlotte (Beal) Perkins from Hancock, with whom her parents lived, and her daughter Ashley Perkins. She is survived by her loving husband, Ernest, of almost 67 years; her five children, 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; her loving sister Louise Joy of Ellsworth and many nieces and nephews, plus a lot of wonderful friends she made over the years."
