[26151] NEHGR 161:35 states that John, by his second wife Jane Dymoke, is "probably" the mother of Katherine; see argument for this supposition in NEHGR 161:29-34.
[57752] The unverified file KXPC-N36 in familysearch.org offers: "When Arethusa T. Farnsworth was born on 26 August 1835, in Maine, United States, her father, Joshua Farnsworth, was 22 and her mother, Louisa S Worcester, was 19. She married Green Leighton on 7 August 1856, in Steuben, Washington, Maine, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. She lived in Columbia, Washington, Maine, United States for about 20 years and Cherryfield, Washington, Maine, United States in 1880."

[51772] Rose's obituary: "Rose Marie Fisher died Thursday September 29, peacefully at home, of complications of Covid and Altzheimers disease. She was born in Ft. Fairfield, August 6, 1938, daughter of Aubrey Laurence Lovely and Edna Louise Kinney Lovely. She was delivered by the famous Dr. HC Kimball, who also delivered all of her six siblings: Bob, Dick, Clayt, Leo, Betty and Glynn. After the separation of her family, she was raised by an aunt and uncle, Lois and Albert Kinney of Brooks. After graduation from high school Rose went to Belfast to work as a hairdresser with Patty Patten (later Lord) who was her matron of honor and lifelong friend. She also became fast friends with the Starretts of that town and in later years would often visit them in their summer cottage at the Battery. Through her brothers she met Jerry Fisher of Fort Fairfield, at that time a potato farmer. They were married in 1959 and stayed that way until Jerrys death in 2019. After the sale of the farm Jerry went into construction and the young family moved around a bit, acquiring two sons as they went. Eventually they settled in New Hampshire, at first in Hampton and later in Newfields. Their house with its big back yard and gardens hosted many family gatherings. Rose went back to school, earning an associates degree in library science and working at Lane Memorial Library in Hampton. Over the following years she also worked as an antiques dealer, part owner of a paint store, and one half of the Incredible Women cleaning company with eternal best friend Leslie Metzger. After Jerrys retirement from Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, the family purchased a farm in Winterport, Maine. They started attending farmers markets, at first with baked goods (Rose was good with sweets) and later organic produce and flowers. Rose was a founding member of the Bar Harbor Farmers Market and was a vendor there, with son Joe, for many years. At home she baked an enormous volume of flaxseed crackers and worked tirelessly in the flower fields. Eventually she retired from active marketing but continued to make flower bouquets for market for years afterward, often working with her great friend Donna Grech. Rose was bright, kind, resilient, and determined, with great strength of character. Her many nieces and nephews remember her as a loving presence and for some a second mother. She loved to laugh and dance, enjoyed a glass of wine and a good book, cared deeply, and was a devoted friend. She and Jerry loved to travel and often went to exotic places with good friends Mike and Maggie Comer. She also loved to spend time with her friend Kelly Comer Dionne and her husband Mike and children Jasper and Melina of Thorndike, who wrote her kind letters all through the pandemic. In later years she and Jerry attended St. Gabriels in Winterport where she was a well loved congregant for many years. After Jerry passed she often attended services with her good friend Joan Bowman. Rose is remembered by her beloved granddaughter Jane and her mother Beth, sons Dennis and Joseph of Winterport, brother Glynn and sister in law Cheryl of Presque Isle, nephew David Lovely and his wife Valerie Lovely of Wells and grandnieces Pip and Hannah; sister Linda Peary of Fort Fairfield and nephew Steven Peary and his partner Tina Roberts of Williston, VT and grand nephews Jonah and Asa; niece Marcie Peary Fowler and her husband Rob Fowler of Ft. Fairfield and daughter Hope; niece Cathy Lovely Seluke and her husband Bill Seluke of Sidney; niece Sharon Lovely Lambert and her husband Micheal Lambert of Hudson, NH grandnephew Kyle and grandniece Nicole; sister-in-law Sherley Donaghy-Lovely of Rochester, NH, niece Bonnie Billings and her husband Ken Billings of Rochester, NH and grand nieces Danielle Warren, Jennifer Weeks, and Katie Michaud, great grand niece Olive Rose and great grandnephew Able, Jodi Lovely Buczek and her husband Don of Berlin NH and grand nephew Christian, niece Pam Blouin and her husband Paul and grandnephew Ryan and grandniece Catherine Fecteau; nephew Richard and his wife Toni of Harrisburg NC and grandnephews RJ and Nick ; niece Janice Butler and her husband Steve and grandniece Kristine; niece Jane Brezzo and her husband Chris of Warren, grandnephew Anthony, grandnephewCarrie and great grandnephew Liam; nephew John Ladd and his wife Maria of NC; niece Janice Girard and husband Pat and grandniece Emily; and neighbors and friends Tom McCord and Kay Retzloff and Bich Nga and Steve Burill and daughters Amanda, Sarah, and especially Sam."
