James, 84, formerly of 715 Ghent rd., Bath Twp., died Saturday at the Springfield Masonic Home where he had been a resident since 1973. A member of the Richfield Masons, Mr. James leaves one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Lyman of Bath. Cremation was in Springfield." Theodore is son of Theodore W. James and Elizabeth Whittaker. Ancestry.com offers: "James Name Meaning - English: from a personal name that has the same origin as Jacob. However, among English speakers, it is now felt to be a separate name in its own right.
