[58644] Thomas' obituary: "Danforth - Thomas 'Tony' J. Stoddard Jr., 70, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 after 14 years of long hard fought battles, with his loving family by his side at a Bangor hospital. He was born on April 17, 1954, the son of Thomas J. Sr. and Elizabeth M. (Sibley) Stoddard. Tony was born and raised in Eaton, Maine. He was employed by the Maine Department of Transportation for many years and worked for various logging companies holding different positions in the logging industry. Tony enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, riding around on his tractor, harvesting and milling lumber on his sawmill, and building a variety of things. He also enjoyed traveling around the world together with his wife, Colleen. Tony was also known as a local handyman, willing to help anyone fix anything no matter the day or time. He is survived by his loving wife Colleen (Oliver) Stoddard; his three children, Thomas Stoddard III and his wife Holly, Marie Porter and her husband Corey, Mindy Mansir and her husband Troy; grandchildren, David Cropley and his wife Nicole, Nick Gray and his significant other Elisabeth, Alex Stoddard, Sarah Stoddard and her significant other Alex H., Jacob Gray, Justin Porter, Ethan Gray and his significant other Madelyn; four great-grandchildren, Isabel Arruda, Rose Arruda, Lillian Cropley, and Kinsley Gray; one sister, Judith Gilman; one brother, Peter Stoddard and his wife June; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one grandson, Dylan Porter, and two brothers-in-law Frederick 'Buddy' Gilman and Sidney Gilman."
