Velma loved to cook, and enjoyed sharing her recipes with family and friends over the years. From her famous boiled dinners to her wonderful Red Velvet Cake and homemade ice cream, every meal was made with love. She loved spending time at camp on Graham Lake with family and friends playing cards, relaxing, fishing and of course . . . cooking! She also loved bowling with her husband, raising her children and grandchildren and her beautiful flower gardens that Warren lovingly tended for her. She was predeceased by her parents, Hollis & Hannah Leighton; her husband, Warren; daughters, Barbara Workman and Brenda Seavey; granddaughter, Lisa Harper; grandson, Matthew Walls; her siblings, Linwood, Theresa, Maggie, Lena, Alton and Sherwood.
