According to one record she is Sarah Coles. She and her ancestry are from http://www.bcooper.aaahosting.net/dat71.html#15 in 2003 and are not verified. Also see http://members.gtw.net/~dollard/ancestors/pafn12.htm which offers: "The will of Hugh Parrell does not mention a daughter Sarah, but he did leave 300 acres to Sarah's husband, 'my loving kinsman John Bruce'. This could be interpreted to mean that Sarah was Hugh's daughter and her inheritance was directed to her husband, but it could also mean that the inheritance was directed to his sister or another relatives' husband. Hugh Parrell and Sarah's husband both died in Sep 1748. The birth dates of the children of John and Sarah Bruce and Hugh and Ann Parrell seems to indicate that all four were probably born around 1690 or earlier, so it would appear that they were from the same generation. John Bruce's will was written in Nov 1747, nearly a year before Hugh's will was written. It seems to me to be much more logical that Hugh knew John was about to die also and he was making sure his sister was taken care of." Rick Zeolla's tree at http://awt.ancestry.com in 2004 (not verified) states that Sarah was b. in Fodyce Parish, Banff, Scotland, and provides her siblings.

Also see http://www.geneajourney.com/thweng.html [not verified] for his ancestry and which reports: "Called a royal knight and banneret in 1260 and 1261, when he was granted robes by the King. Marmaduke went on pilgrimage to Santiago in 1262, and in 1264, he was summoned to join the King under arms and was captured at the battle of Lewes by Hugh le Despenser (to whom he owed ransom of 700 m). He was summoned for service against the Scots in 1258, and again in 1264 and 1283 against the Welsh. He was granted the right to hold markets and fairs in Thwing, Lund, and Coatham in 1257. In 1272 he obtained the manors of Danby, Brotton, and Skinningrove, as well as the town of Yarm in Yorkshire."
