[60914] Dorothy's obituary: " Dorothy 'Dotti' Jellison Blomquist, 54, wife of the late, Richard 'Monk' Blomquist of Bar Harbor, died July 18, 2006, of cancer at Mount Desert Island Hospital. She was born May 19, 1952, in Rhode Island, the daughter of Jeremiah Wooster and Constance (Hanscom) Jellison of Bar Harbor. Dotti was a graduate of Mount Desert High School and worked at Jellison's Five and Ten. She was employed by Mount Desert Island Hospital and worked at the emergency room desk. Dotti also worked at Tripps Restaurant. She and her husband were managers of the Mary Roberts Rinehart Restaurant, later called the Wonder View Restaurant. Both Dotti and her husband were well known for their excellent menus of fine food. In later years, their snack bar enjoyed success at Jetty Park, Titusville, Fla. Dotti was baptized and confirmed at the Church of Our Father in Hulls Cove. Later she became a member of the Maine State Organization, Daughters of the American Revolution and served as state page. She was a member of the Mount Desert Isle chapter. Dotti was predeceased by her father, Jeremiah W. Jellison; her husband of 25 years, Richard E. Blomquist; and a stepdaughter, Susan Blomquist."
