Frank, 94, formerly of 10 E. Tucker Ave., died Wednesday at Crestwood Care Center following a lengthy illness. He was born on Sept. 30, 1895, in Richland County and was a lifelong area resident. He was a retired carpenter and attended the First United Church of Christ in Shelby. Survivors include a son, Dean Frank of Shelby; a daughter, Bertha Crow of Shelby; two granddaughters, Susan Frank and Peggy Roller, both of Shelby; a great-grandson, Thomas Roller, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances L. Frank; his parents, George and Dorthea Guenther Frank; an infant daughter, Helen Frank; six brothers; and a sister. Calling hours will not be observed. A private graveside service will be held on Friday in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby by the Rev. John J. Bradley."
