[21871] Johannes m. 1642 in Wuerttemberg, Germany to Barbara_____; he is son of lrich Keller (b. ca. 1596 in Seissen, Donaukreis, Wuerttemberg) and Anna _____. Ancestry.com suggests the origin of the surname: "German: from Middle High German kellaere cellarman, cellar master (Latin cellarius, denoting the keeper of the cella store chamber, pantry). Hence an occupational name for the overseer of the stores, accounts, or household in general in, for example, a monastery or castle. Kellers were important as trusted stewards in a great household, and in some cases were promoted to ministerial rank. The surname is widespread throughout central Europe."

[8] Naomi graduated from Barberton Business School and attended Otterbein College. She worked as a secretary, was a Girl Scout leader, organized a youth choir and sang in several church choirs. Her life was celebrated by 120+ family and friends at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Harrisburg, 20 March 1994 (son Forrest read her favorite Psalm [139:1-18], sister Kathleen read Revelation 21:1-7, niece Julie played the organ, niece Diane and Julie's husband sang, Diane's husband played the trumpet and husband Albert spoke). Naomi descends from Westhall Ridgely (b. 1742), a Patriot who served in the War for American Independence.

[3118] See http://www.baronage.co.uk/bphtm-03/bruce-03.html for an alternate marriage and genealogy (Web site in 2003) - and see the discussion of his wife's identity in notes for William de Braose. http://freespace.virgin.net/doug.thompson/BraoseWeb/index1.htm offers: "Brydges edition of Collins' Peerage claims he was first married to Agnes, dau of Waldron de Saint Clare but no evidence for this can be found. It may be an example of Bruce - Braose confusion. According to L C Perfect, a 13th century genealogy in the Bibliothèque de Paris gives the name of his wife as Eve de Boissey, widow of Anchetil de Harcourt. There is a lot of evidence from contemporary charters which supports this view."
