Mr. Huckins, the son of Taft and Mary Huckins, was a lifelong resident of this town where he was well known and respected by all. He was engaged in lobster fishing. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the home of his son Eugene Huckins with the Rev. H. P. Wheeler of Cherryfield officiating. Bearers were Ellas Griffin, George Marshall, Geason Hinckley and Ira King. Surviving are four sons, Eugene, John, Reginald and Ray Huckins, one brother, Herbert Huckins, all of Milbridge; two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Sawyer of Milbndge and Mrs. Abbie Ober of Prospect Harbor."
