"Princeton Daiy Clarion [Princeton, Indiana]," 6 April 1946: "Owensville, April 6 (Special) - Funeral services for Mrs. Claire Eagle, who died suddenly at her home west of here Friday morning will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist church. Rev. C. M. Bless will conduct the services and burial will be in Antioch cemetery. Mrs. Eagle had returned Tuesday from New Orleans, where they had spent the winter. She is survived by her husband, Charles Wesley Eagle; a son, John O. Jones of near Owensville, two sisters and a brother."
