He was a veteran of World War I having served in the US Army. Surviving are his widow, the former Amelia Shappell of Easton; two daughters, Doris, wife of Leroy Fegley, Corry, Pa.; Mrs. Marjorie Stream, Weiser, Idaho; seven grandchildren; one gret-grandchild; one brother, Percy Bubeck, Sch Haven. . . . burial in Union Cemetery."
