Higgins and Albertina (Farrell) Higgins. He attended Ellsworth schools and graduated from high school in the class of 1910. He operated the Ellsworth Motor Co. from 1933 until 1945. He was a machinist at the Ellsworth Foundry and Machine Co. and the L.S. Thorsen Co. Masonic Lodge of Ellsworth and the Acadia Chapter of Ellsworth and Blanquefort Commadery of Ellsworth and served as Past District Grand High Priest. He was a member of Bangor Council #5, a 32nd Degree Mason. He served six years on the Ellsworth City Council, two of these as chairman. He also served as city assessor for several terms. Survived by his widow, Mildred (Fullerton) of Ellsworth."
