Annie grew up on Mount Desert Island in Seal Harbor next to the ocean that always held a special place in her heart. In 1949, Annie graduated from Bar Harbor High School and went on to graduate from Peter Bent Brigham Hospital for Nursing. On May 10th, 1953, Annie married her high school sweetheart John 'Jack' Riddell. She retired in 1995 after 24 years. She continued working as a liaison for the elderly until she was 75. Annie was a voracious reader and would spend a lot of time reading or working on her word puzzles. She was also a long-time member of Woodland Baptist Church, with many of the members becoming like a second family to her. In addition to her parents, Annie was predeceased by her husband Jack, daughter Vicki Lee, sister Ermine, and close friend Harold Grant. She is survived by daughters, Pamela Moore, Joanne Deacon, and Kathryn Curtis and her companion Randy McIver and family, all of Baileyville, Maine. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kimberly Tompkins and her husband Roger, Kevin Moore and his wife Meghan, Josh Curtis, Kaileigh Deacon, Tim Curtis, John Deacon and companion Mary Mitchell, and Keith Curtis. Annie is survived by her brother Roscoe McEacharn and his wife Janet, as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and extended family. She will be greatly missed by good friends Tina and John Demmons and family, Susan and Roger McIver and family, and long time friends and neighbors, Peggy and Gary."
