(2) Catharine Hamman. "Hist. of Northumberland Co., PA," by Floyd (1911), p. 754: "Andrew Dressler, son of John, was born May 28, 1746, in Germany, near a 'dorf' called 'Yakst,' near the 'Schwabeland.' He was three years old when brought to America." "Jonathan and Joseph Tressler and Their Descendants," a small booklet by Albert Willis Tressler (1948) reports (p. 1): "Andrew Tressler, May 28, 1747 - Oct. 21, 1828) was the son of Johann Andreas Dressler who evidently arrived at Philadelphia, Pa. Sept. 13, 1749 on the ship Christian. They had come from near Yakthause (Jagdhaus) in Wurtemberg, Germany." - the book follows the emigrant's sons, Jonathan and Joseph.
