[46905] "Gettysburg Compiler, 27 December 1924": "Isaac A McCauslin, retired farmer and fruit grower, died at his home in Bendersville last Saturday, being the first death in Adams county in which hiccoughts were a contributing cause. He became ill with hiccoughs about three weeks ago and at the time they seemed cured he suffered a stroke, resulting in death. He was a son of the late Samuel and Susan McCauslin and for many years conducted a large farm he owned, retiring last spring when he moved to Bendersville. He had been an active member of the Wenksville Methodist Church for the past forty years. Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Wenksville Methidist Church by Rev. L. Vance Green with interment in the cemetery adjoining the church. He leaves a wife and the following children: Charles, Mervin, and Mrs. Charles Warren, of Biglerville: Frank, of York Springs R. D.; Mrs Amos Cleckner, Mrs Harry Kahler and Paul McCauslin, of Harrisburg, and Ray McCauslin; of Fredericks Iowa, and is survived by four brothers and two sisters: Martin, of Aspers R. D.; Abraham, of Biglerville R. D.; George, og Biglerville R. D.; Mrs. Samuel Dunlap, of Biglerville R. D.; Mrs Denton Lynn, of Harrisburg, and Harry McCauslin, of Bowmansdale."
