She was born January 18, 1930, in Monticello, the daughter of Donald and Georgia (Porter) Stackhouse. Marie enjoyed gardening, quilting, knitting, painting, but most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by seven children, Joan Fournier of Houlton; Randall Mooers (Barbara) of Ludlow, Calvin Mooers (Corinne) of Georgia, Albert Mooers IV (Kathy) of Bangor, Susan Cone (Milton) of Houlton, David Mooers (Nancy) of Houlton, and Mark Drew (Melanie) of New Limerick. She also leaves behind stepdaughter, Patrice Tarr (Fred) of Bangor; stepdaughter-in-law, Shirley Drew of Oakfield; and a special son-in-law, Richard Harburger of Brewer. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lester (Gene) Drew; daughter, Jane Harburger; son-in-law, Robert Fournier; a great-granddaughter, Hannah Mooers; siblings, Keith Stackhouse and Joyce Tapley; and stepsons, Lester (Piper) Drew and Peter Drew. It was a true blessing to have her as our mother and grandmother. We will forever cherish each and every memory."
