[33219] http://www.celtic-casimir.com offers in 2012: "The name Tybotot does not appear in the records before June 1204, when Walter, father of Robert Tybotot, a tenant in co. Leicester, is mentioned. Walter was one of the King's enemies at this time, for in July following the sheriff of co. Leicester was ordered to grant possession of Walter's lands to his overlord, the Earl of Derby. The date of Walter's death is not known. In 1209 Robert Tybotot was one of the knights of the King's household in the army of Scotland, and in September 1216 the release from captivity of Robert Tybotot, knight of the Earl of Derby, was ordered. There is no proof of the parentage of this Robert Tybotot, but the fact that he was a tenant of the Earl of Derby suggests that he may be the son of Walter, who was a tenant of the same Earl. HENRY TYBOTOT was probably of the same family. In May 1217 John de Boterel and Henry Tybotot were granted the lands of Adam Painel in Yorks and Lincs, and in 1223 the sheriff of co. Leicester was ordered to seize the lands of Henry Tybotot, who had attended a tournament against the King's wiii. Henry Tybotot had connections with Essex as early as April 1228, and in September 1229 he was granted custody of the lands and heir of William de Haye in that county. He was given timber from Essex to build a mill and a house in 1232 and 1233; and in April 1233 he was granted the manor of Shopland, Essex, to keep him in the King's service. Henry, who may have served in Ireland during the reign of King John, was granted protection, October 1229, for the expedition which was to go to Brittany and in April following he crossed to France with the King. In May 1234 he was among those asked to supply a knight for service in Brittany. He married Alda and died some time before 26 December 1241. Alda survived him but the date of her death is not known. [Complete Peerage XII/2:89-90, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)] . . . Henry married Alda. (Alda was born about 1205 in England and died after 1242.)"

[52180] Virginia is daughter of Elwood Vernon Hanscom (1906-1975) & Emily McKay (1910-1977; m. 8 April 1928). "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine], 14 January 2020": "Lamoine - Virginia 'Ginny' Eaton, 88, went to be with her Lord on Jan. 11, 2020, with her family by her side. She was born at home, in Hulls Cove, on Aug. 30, 1931, the daughter of Elwood and Emily (McKay) Hanscome. After graduating from Bar Harbor High School in 1949, Ginny met the love of her life, Almond 'Buddy' Eaton. This would be the start of nearly 70 years of marriage. Ginny and Buddy made their home in Lamoine, raising four children. She was a loving, caring, giving woman, opening her home to anyone in need. For 30 years, Ginny worked at AT&T as a telephone operator, starting at the Ellsworth office and retiring at the Bangor office. She spent countless hours traveling that 'damn' Bangor Road every day with her best friend, Mima Grindle. Ginny retired at the age of 56, giving her time to spend doing things she loved. She loved spending summers at her camp on Molasses Pond when her boys were young. Summer was her favorite time of year. You would often find her on her riding lawn mower, maintaining her lawns, fields and beautiful flower gardens. She found joy in remodeling the inside and outside of her house over and over again. Ginny loved the beach, basking in the sun and collecting sea glass. Ginnys family was most important to her. She followed all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildrens activities, hosted many picnics and football parties and enjoyed visiting extended family on 'The Island.' She was a caregiver to young and old alike and would drop everything when someone needed her. Ginny loved to travel with her friends. She loved her church, The Church of Our Father in Hulls Cove, and enjoyed many get-togethers with her close friends, The Bible Babes. Ginny is survived by her loving husband, Buddy; daughter, Jane Shea and husband, Stephen; sons, Bruce and wife, Linda, Allie Eaton III, and Kenny Eaton of North Dakota; grandchildren, Jennifer Shea-Giffin and husband, Joel, Missy Shea and her partner, Jason Heckman, Anthony Eaton and his partner, Jocelyn Carter, Jesse Eaton and wife, Lisa, and Kristopher Eaton and his partner, Kayla Boone; great-grandchildren, Emily and Sam Giffin, Madeline and Lydia Hart, and Donavin Eaton; sister, Helen Douglas; sister-in-law, Jeanette Hanscome; many nieces and nephews; special nephew, Eddie Douglas and wife, Peggy; and very special neighbors, David and Vicki Smallidge. In addition to her parents, Ginny was predeceased by her brother, Bobby Hanscome."
[54591] "Bar Harbor Times [Bar Harbor, Maine]," 19 January 1927, p. 8: "Mrs. Caroline S Bowden Died Wednesday Morning Mrs. Caroline S Bowden passed away early this Wednesday morning at her home in Salisbury Cove after an illness of about two weeks following several years of failing health. She was born March 24, 1853, the daughter of Isaac and Cordelia Cousins Hopkins and has always lives in the home in which she died, a house which is of historic interest being on of the oldest in town having been build when Maine was a part of Massachusetts. She married Frank O. Bowden of Ellsworth whose death occurred several years ago. Two married sons, Paul Leon and Frank Lewis survive her; a daughter Addie May the oldest child, having died at the age of two years. Much care and devotion has been given her by the daughters-in-law who were the Misses Jennie and Mamie Powell of Cambridge, Mass. and who were with her to the last. Mrs. Bowden united with the Eden Baptist Church early in life was and always one of its most active workers. She was a charter member of Bay View Grange and until the past few years due to poor health was one of its most ardent supporters. She was always identified with everything in the community that was for the welfare of the town. A woman full of kindly deeds, and to whom many have turned for help and sympathy in time of need, her passing brings sorrow to the whole community. Funeral services will be at the Baptist Church Salisbury Cove Friday afternoon."
[952] The 1940 federal census in Coral Gables, Dade Co., FL lists James and his family - see "United States Census, 1940," index and images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/VTH8-R49). James registered for the draft 26 May 1917 stating he was a teacher in Rochester, NY and a farmer in the summer (helping his father on the farm). [The unverified "Pedigree Resource File," database, FamilySearch (http://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.2.1/39NR-WXK) states James was b. in Mount Morris, Livingston Co., NY.] "The Miami News, 26 October 1946," p. 16: "James S. Kingston 56, of 824 SW 43rd ave., died yesterday. The body will be sent to Rochester, N. Y., for burial by the Gautier funeral home. Mr. Kingston, a retired school teacher, came to Miami 12 years ago. Besides his wife, Mrs. Ellen Greg Kingston, he leaves two sons, James and David; two daughters, Miss Nancy and Cynthia, and a brother, Walter Kingston, all of Miami." William H. Enderlein, 80, of 121 White Pond Dr., died suddenly at home Oct. 30. , Bill had been a life resident of Akron, and was the owner-operator of the Fairlawn Driving Range, which he operated for 42 years prior to its closing nine i years ago. Bill was o member of the I joppa Lodge No. 666 F&AM, and Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Canton. ' He is survived by wife, Ef fie; daughters, Elizabeth Enderlein of Greensboro, N.C., Mrs. Howard W. (Jean) Ryder of Akron; daughter-in-law, Mrs. William Enderlein Jr. of Akron; sister, Mrs. Martha Buffington of Akron; and three grandchildren, Lisa Ryder, Susan Ryder, and Howard Ryder IV."
[15855] Alice died in her husband's arms on the same day that his mother died in the same house, and the two women were buried together in Greenwood Cemetery. Alice's husband wrote of his young wife in his diary: "...we spent three years of happiness greater and more unalloyed than I have ever known fall to the lot of others...." (entry for 16 Feb 1884).
