"Amarillo Daily News [Amarillo, Texas], 11 June 1941," p. 3 : "Borger -June 10 (Special) - Mrs. Rosa Megert, 77-year-old local resident, died at her home at 318 West Coolidge late last night. Mrs. Megert, mother of A. S. Megert, local business man, had lived here since December, 1934. Funeral services will be held 2:30. o'clock tomorrow afternoon the First Baptist Church, Rev. N. Hunt and Rev. S. Y. Allgood, Methodist pastor at Phillips, will officiate. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Megert is survived by daughters, Mrs. Bert Gray of Phillips and Mrs. Bertha Smith of Eureka, Calif.; four sons, H. O. of South Eliot, Maine, Fred E. of Los Angeles, A. S. of Borger, and Karl A. of Phillips; and a brother, Freda Frei of Zurich, Switzerland."

Hale (1870 - 1944), "Freeport Journal-Standard, 18 April 1977," p. 15: "Mrs. Robert (Marjorie L.) Ritzman died Friday in Platteville, Wis., after an extended illness. She was a retired school teacher and belonged to the Orangeville United Methodist Church, the Orangeville American Legion Auxiliary and the Orangeville Order of the Eastern Star. Born July 8, 1898, in South Wayne, Wis., she was the daughter of Ross and Sadie (Hale) Hobbs. She married Robert Ritzman June 10, 1925, in Freeport. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Hedin of Rochester, Minn.; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. LaVern (Evelyn) Graves of Platteville, Wis. Her husband, a sister and a brother preceded her in death."
