Daughter of Thomas Hewitt and Elizabeth Morris." Both the 1880 and 1900 federal census of Northwood, Worth Co., IA lists Charles and Sarah, both b. in England - he is a farmer. The 1900 census reports that he emigrated to America in 1826 and she in 1836.
