He was also king of Hannover & Ireland (1830-37), during whose reign the
first Reform Bill was passed.
William entered the British navy in 1779, remaining in its service until
1787. He Was made duke of Clarence in 1789. About 1791 he formed a liaison
with the Irish actor Dorothea Jordon, by whom he subsequently had ten
children. In 1818, after he unexpectedly came into the line of succession
to the throne, he married a German princess, Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen,
by whom he had two daughters, both of whom died in infancy. He became king
in 1830, succeeding his brother.
Warmhearted and well intentioned but rather eccentric, William had
virtually no political judgment. The major event of his reign was the
passage of the Reform Bill of 1832, which he was persuaded to support by
his prime minister, Charles Grey, 2d Earl Grey; it was enacted after
William finally agreed to create, if necessary, a sufficient number of new
peers to overcome the majority opposed to the bill in the House of Lords.
The abolition of colonial slavery (1833), the reform of the poor laws
(1834), and the Municipal Reform Act (1835) followed the 1832 reform of
Parliament. William was the last British ruler to try to force
parliamentary acceptance of an unpopular ministry, namely the one headed
by Sir Robert Peel in 1834-35. William was succeeded to the British throne
by his niece Victoria. The throne of Hannover was inherited by his brother
Ernest Augustus.

[11370] Isabella I (1451-1504), queen of Castile, called la Catolica (the Catholic.). She was the daughter of John II of Castile and Leon by his second wife, Isabella of Portugal. In 1469 Princess Isabella married Ferdinand of Aragon, known also as Ferdinand V, The Catholic, and on the death of her brother, Henry IV, Isabella and Ferdinand jointly succeeded (1474) to the throne of Castile and León. Isabella's succession was contested, however, by Alfonso V of Portugal, who supported the claim of Henry's daughter Juana la Beltraneja (1462-1530). Alfonso attacked Castile and Leon but was defeated by the Castilian army in 1476. Three years later Ferdinand succeeded to the throne of Aragon. This union of the two main Spanish kingdoms laid the foundation of Spain's future greatness. Isabella and her husband are remembered for completing the reconquest of Spain from the Moors, for initiating the Inquisition, and for their ruthless expulsion of the Spanish Jews. They are perhaps best known, however, for having sponsored the voyages of Christopher Columbus. See http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Isabella-of-Castile

[28588] "Family History: Hans Jacob Neifert Descendants: part 3: Berks/Schuylkill Cos, PA," William Washington Neifert, 1906, on the Web at http://files.usgwarchives.org/pa/schuylkill/history/family/neif003.txt in 2008, offers: "Rosine Neifert, the 6th child of Peter and Mary Neifert b. Aug 27,1827 in Rush. On June 17, 1849 she was married by Rev. C. Sollmon at Frocktown Pa. to David Jacob Stewart born at Pricetown, Berks Co., PA. July 28, 1824 the 6th child of David and Julia (Schoyer) Stewart. They have always lived in Rush township where their nine children were born on a farm near Stewart's Station in Quakake Valley and where he died on Jan. 21, 1906 and lies buried at the White Church cemetery."
[41619] http://www.noyesgenealogy.net reports "Moved to USA 1838/9. Family living in Orleans County, VT 8/30/1850; living in Stewartstown, NH next door to Isaac Willey family 6/12/1860."
[38513] FindAGrave.com offers: "Jacob Price inherited from his father the land lying southwest of the church (Price's) near the 'Nunnery.' He seems to have conveyed his property by the following deeds and will. DEED. Jacob Price et Susanna ux to Abraham Price, dated 4 June 1830, for the consideration of $10.00, 192 acres and 127 perches. vidi D. B. 15 page 124. DEED. Jacob Price et Susanna ux to Jacob Price, Jr., dated 24 April 1832. Consideration $6750 for 225 acres and 43 perches. D. B. 15 page 610. WILL of Jacob Price, dated 28 May 1832, probated 7 Sept. 1839, at Chambersburg, PA. Son Jacob, Executor. Mentions that he has given deeds to his sons for his land. Gives his personal property to his sons in law and bequeaths to his wife Susanna the residue of his estate. In a letter written to Jacob Price No. 6484, son of Rev. Jacob and Susanna (Baker) Price, Abram. H. Cassel said -- Elder John Price "had a son Jacob who was an exhorter among the Brethren. He was here (Indian Creek) on a visit about 1780. He preached a number of sermons among the Brethren and attended the wedding of his cousin William Price. He seems to have been a very dearly beloved brother, as he was kept in affectionate remembrance by all who knew him. Religion: Carried the title of Reverend. Title: A genealogy of the Descendants of Rev. Jacob Price, Evangelist and Pioneer. Note: Burial: 1839, Country Cemetery, near Welty's Mill, Franklin Co., PA. The only cemetery I could find in the area is Green Hill cemetery." Ancestry.com offers: "Price Name Meaning - Welsh: Anglicized form of Welsh ap Rhys son of Rhys (see Reece). This is one of the commonest of Welsh surnames. It has also been established in Ireland since the 14th century, where it is sometimes a variant of Bryson. English: the name is also found very early in parts of England far removed from Welsh influence (e.g. Richard Prys, Essex 1320), and in such cases presumably derives from Middle English, Old French pris price, prize, perhaps as a metonymic occupational name for a fixer of prices."
