Surviving are two sons, Ralph of Milbridge and Harold of West Chatham, Mass.; three daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Freeman of Milbridge, Mrs. Clayton Smith of Farmingdale and Mrs. Richard Wilson of Mountain View, Calif., 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins."

"The West Schuylkill Press and Pine Grove Herald [Tremont, Pennsylvania], 24 June 1949," p. 1: "Henry Hatter, 79, of Cleona, died on Tuesday in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, after being a patient there for three weeks. Mr, Hatter was a former resident of Donaldson. Bom in Donaldson, he was a son of the late Joel and Elizabeth Wolfgang Hatter. Before moving to Cleona, he lived in Shamokin for a number of years. He was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Shamokin. His wife, the former Minnie Moyer, died 15 years ago. His survivors included two daughters, Miss Marian Hatter, Cleona, and Mrs. Frank Keiser, Shamokin; one sister, Mrs. Emma Bressler, Donaldson; four brothers, Arthur, Donaldson; Edward of Tower City; Oscar and Fred of Easton; one grandson and one great-grandchild."
