[61236] Robert's obituary: "Mr. Robert A. Bartlett, 60, died March 1, 2008, in Manchester, N.H. Born April 27, 1947, in Bangor, Mr. Bartlett was the son of George and Ida (Cunningham) Bartlett. He grew up in Maine, graduating from Bangor High School and had been a Pittsfield, N.H., resident since 1980. Mr. Bartlett served in the Air Force Reserve as an aircraft mechanic and earned a marks-manship badge during training. After his tour of duty, he worked for Sprinkler Fitters U. A. Local No. 669, from which he just recently retired after 35 years. During his free time, he enjoyed working on his house, hunting and computers. Mr. Bartlett is survived by his loving wife, Trudy M. (Tyree) Bartlett of Pittsfield, N.H.; children and their partners, Robert A. Bartlett II and Nancy Newhouse, Rhonda Boos, Steven Bartlett, Brenda Bartlett, Tom Fortier and Lynn Perry; 13 grandchildren; his mother, Ida and Ralph Sites of Eddington; a sister, Joan Ness of Hamden; a brother, George Bartlett of Florida; a stepsister, Linda LaChance of Bucksport; nieces and nephews; and his very special cats, Annie, Oreo and Squirt."

At one time or another he held most of the local offices. After the death of his second wife he married Diana, the widow of John Bogar.
